Our Story

Pearson & Co. opened in December of 1996 as one of the first “Gourmet Take Out” businesses in Sonoma County at 2759 Fourth Street in Santa Rosa.  Founders Larry & Karen Pearson dreamed of re-defining the term “take out” by providing an incredible array of entrees & side dishes which rotate with the season and include daily specials.   The reputation for being “The Best Take-Out in Sonoma County” quickly grew and Pearson & Co. began gaining recognition and awards from local newspapers and the yearly Harvest Fair.  A commitment to using fresh ingredients and preparing great tasting food daily have made our destination a local favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  We can deliver to your location, 7 days a week, as well.

In February 1999, Mike & Kendra McCoy became the owners of Pearson & Co.  We shared the Pearson dream and have endeavored to grow the business, while staying true to the original values.  Now there are 4 locations within Santa Rosa where you can eat-in or take-out breakfast, lunch or dinner.  At 2500 Mendocino Ave., Pearson & Co. can be found next to Peet’s Coffee. In 2008, Santa Rosa Kaiser Permanente contracted with us to operate their café and coffee cart located in the Stein Complex on Old Redwood Highway, MOB5 and MOB4 respectively.  The Kaiser facilities are open to the public, Monday through Friday. 

Since 1998, we have offered full-service catering as well.  We do everything from corporate lunches to formal weddings.  Our attention to detail and fulfilling your wishes, make us the desirable choice for both companies and individuals alike.  Though the menu & services have expanded, the dedication to quality still exists.  At the same time, we support our local economy and environment by using vendors and products within our community.
